Arizona Technology Council partners with The University of Arizona Online to provide 10% tuition savings to member company employees

The Arizona Technology Council today launched a partnership with The University of Arizona Online to offer 10% tuition savings on all online bachelor’s programs and online graduate programs to member company employees, as well as their spouses, domestic partners and dependents. This reduction applies whether the company or employee is paying for the tuition.

Eligible bachelor’s programs include a Bachelor of Applied Science in cyber operations, a Bachelor of Science in electrical and computer engineering, a Bachelor of Science in software engineering and many other similar programs, undergraduate certificates and graduate degrees that can help Council members build skills and elevate their careers.

The 10% tuition reduction also applies to programs offered by The University of Arizona (UArizona) Eller College of Management, including its Online MBA, Professional MBA, Executive MBA and Evening MBA. Eller is ranked seventh for best online MBA programs by U.S. News & World Report.

“The University of Arizona is among the most prestigious schools in the nation, and we are proud to offer our member companies a significant discount to help their employees pursue a bachelor’s or graduate degree,” said Steven G. Zylstra, the Council’s president and CEO. “The collaboration between education and industry is critical to Arizona’s economic prosperity, and we believe this program will significantly enhance our members’ ability to further refine their talent.”

“We are thrilled to partner with the Arizona Technology Council and provide member companies with benefits to incentivize employee degree attainment,” said Kara Aquilano Forney, The University of Arizona Online’s executive director of corporate initiatives. “Working with Arizona’s premier trade association for science and technology companies furthers the mission to advance working adults in the state of Arizona by providing greater access to world-class higher education.”

In addition to the tuition savings, employees of the Council’s more than 800 member companies also receive a UArizona admissions application fee waiver and a dedicated partnership enrollment team to ensure their success throughout their degree program.

The University of Arizona Online is an extension of UArizona, the state’s land-grant university that is widely acclaimed for its world-renowned faculty, academic rankings, affordability and flexibility.
