Shaping the Next Generation of Arizona’s Technology Leaders

The Arizona Technology Council’s Emerging Leaders Council (ELC) is an exclusive, 18-month leadership development program designed for emerging leaders ages 25–39 who are ready to take the next step toward executive leadership and board service within Arizona’s technology ecosystem.

Each year, just 10–15 high-potential professionals are selected for this prestigious cohort, gaining access to board readiness training, strategic leadership development and unparalleled networking opportunities with Council leadership and C-suite executives across Arizona’s thriving technology community.

This is not an entrepreneurship program; it’s a professional leadership development experience built to prepare the next generation of tech leaders to make an impact at the highest levels.

Who Should Apply

The AZTC Emerging Leaders Council is designed for:

  • Rising professionals ages 25–39 working in Arizona’s technology sector or related industries.
  • Aspiring leaders who demonstrate initiative, integrity and a commitment to professional growth.
  • Individuals seeking to build executive competencies and prepare for future board or senior leadership roles.

Are you a senior leader, executive or manager within your organization?
We invite you to identify and nominate promising emerging leaders from your team to participate in this program. Nominating a colleague is an impactful way to invest in your company’s talent pipeline and Arizona’s next generation of technology leadership.

Program Highlights

  • Quarterly Core Meetings
    Deep-dive into critical leadership topics, including fiduciary responsibilities, strategic planning and executive presence.

  • Signature In-Person Events
    Participate in a Leadership Summit and an Innovation Showcase designed to strengthen leadership skills and expand executive networks.

  • Monthly Virtual Touchpoints
    Stay engaged with peer mentoring sessions, skills workshops and ongoing development opportunities.

Participation Pricing

  • Companies with less than 50 employees: $500/participant
  • Companies with 51-99 employees: $750/participant
  • Companies with 100+ employees: $1,000/participant
