USDA Awards Thousands to Arizona Through REAP

Last month, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced new funding through the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) to help agricultural producers and small businesses lower business costs through clean energy and energy efficiency systems. Thanks to funding from the Inflation Reduction Act, these grants will support 654 clean energy projects in 39 states, Guam, and Puerto Rico. The USDA also announced it will make additional funds available across three funding rounds until 2027. USDA is accepting applications in this first round through two windows. The deadlines to apply are Dec. 31, 2024, and March 31, 2025.
