WebPT Marks 10 years with Acquisition

As WebPT marks its 10-year anniversary, the Phoenix-based company has acquired BMS Practice Solutions of Upland, Calif., the largest billing and collections company serving the rehabilitation therapy market.

Thin Client Computing Announcing Spring IT Retreat

Thin Client recently announced their second annual Masters Retreat for IT professional which will take place in Prescott, Arizona April 20-22.

Cybba, Inc. Provides Tips for Effective Sales Presentations

As a speaker, presenter, or salesperson, what’s the proper length for a presentation? How can you best share ideas…and make them stick?

TED talk expert recently explained that TED has identified that 18 minutes is the perfect length of time for a presentation. In fact, all TED Talks are limited to 18 minutes, to align with research on attention spans. Gallo cited TED curator Chris Anderson’s reasoning of the time limit as “short enough to hold people’s attention, including on the Internet, and precise enough to be taken seriously. But it’s also long enough to say something that matters.”

InfinityHR Updates User Interface

InfinityHR is announcing the release of a brand-new user interface (UI) for their HCM software on March 3, 2018. The release of their new UI coincides with their brand overhaul that took place back in 2017. According to a study by Forrester Research, “a well-designed user interface could raise your website’s (or software’s) conversion rate by up to 200%.”

A First in Real Estate Blockchain

RealBlock, a first-of-its-kind functional real estate blockchain enterprise, has been launched under the watchful eye of the founder of the Blockchain Research Lab at Arizona State University.

The wholly owned independent subsidiary of Greenbriar Capital Corporation opens as Arizona becomes the first state to enact a law making digital signatures on smart contracts valid and legally enforceable. Blockchain allows a real estate transaction to be faster, safer and cheaper than the traditional paper-heavy and rubber stamp process.

Mike Boyd, former Pima County recorder of real estate deeds, has been named president of RealBlock. Besides Todd Taylor of ASU’s Blockchain Research Lab, the company has partnered with Tom Sullivan, chairman of Title Security of Arizona, to become a reality.

Six Bioscience Startups Get Support from Flinn Foundation

The Flinn Foundation has selected six Arizona bioscience startups as participants in the 2018 Bioscience Entrepreneurship Program, with receiving $30,000 in funding support and program services.

In addition to funding and services, company leaders will participate for one year as members of Arizona’s Bioscience Roadmap Steering Committee, a group of the state’s science, health care, business, academia and policy leaders.
