Leader Named for New VC Firm

Robert Griffin is the principal and managing partner of DVI Equity Partners, a new venture capital entity he formed with Tucson-based Diamond Ventures to increase the sourcing and analysis of investments in early-stage, emerging technology companies.

Griffin’s connection to Diamond Ventures, one of Arizona’s leading real estate development and venture capital companies, can be traced to his earlier role as CEO of Knowledge Computing Corporation, a University of Arizona spin-out and early Diamond Ventures portfolio company that developed the crime investigation system called COPLINK™.

Under Griffin’s leadership, DVI will be actively seeking investment opportunities, with an emphasis on disruptive technologies. The firm also will seek investment opportunities in companies founded and led by women and minorities.
