John C. Norling has been elected managing attorney at Jennings, Strouss & Salmon, a leading Phoenix-based law firm. He has served as a member of the management committee and as chair of the corporate, securities and finance department.
In the role, Norling will oversee all operations and focus on maintaining the firm’s reputation as a leader in the Arizona legal, business and non-profit communities. He also will support the growth of the firm’s Washington, D.C., office, and its energy and utilities law practice.
Norling succeeds J. Scott Rhodes, who stepped down from the position after six years to focus on his legal ethics and professional responsibility practice. He also will resume the position as the firm’s general counsel.
