Carvana’s Biggest Vending Machine Launched in Tempe

Carvana, a leading e-commerce platform for buying used cars, has launched its largest car vending machine to date, this time in its hometown of Tempe.

At nine stories, the glass tower off Scottsdale Road just north of the Loop 202 holds up to 34 vehicles and provides a unique way to pick up vehicles purchased on Carvana.com. This is the company’s 12th location for one of its trademark vending machines.

In 2017 alone, Carvana opened its new headquarters in Tempe; began offering free, rapid vehicle delivery to Phoenix metro residents; and opened its newest inspection and perfection center in Tolleson, creating hundreds of jobs.

Young Customer service Agents Restless Says Aspect Survey

Young millennial/GenZ customer service agents could be the largest customer service agent demographic in the next several years but also the least happy and most likely to leave their jobs, according to the 2nd annual Aspect Agent Experience Index survey.

Not only is this demographic of ages 18-24 the only group whose job satisfaction declined from 2017, 45 percent are much more likely to be looking for another job than older millennials (33 percent) and GenX/Boomers (24 percent).

In addition, 91 percent say feeling like a valued part of a team is important but only 58 percent indicated they work in a customer service environment where this is present.
