Support low-income youth in Arizona and get a tax credit on your Arizona state tax return by donating to Science For All, which provides Arizona students with skills necessary for securing employment in STEM fields.
The Council’s foundation, SciTech Institute, actively works to create solutions and solve the talent pipeline challenges that Arizona’s technology community is facing. Community support is crucial to our efforts in training the next generation of science educators and leaders who will drive innovation, solve problems and create technology that we have never imagined.
According to the Arizona Department of Education, there are over 1,300 Arizona schools where the majority of students are living in poverty. The vision of Science For All is to provide students with workplace employability and technical skills necessary for securing jobs in the STEM fields. The creation of this pool of high-tech talent will help attract employers to Arizona and improve Arizona’s standing as a STEM hub.
Science For All is a 501(c)(3) qualifying charitable organization that utilizes SciTech Institute’s innovative Chief Science Officer (CSO) program as the vehicle to help youth develop employability and technical skills through STEM events, job training programs, mentorships, internships and other STEM activities. In addition to Science For All, SciTech Institute encompasses some of the strongest STEM initiatives in Arizona, including the Arizona SciTech Festival, Science Bowl competitions and the Counting Bee.
Arizona taxpayers have the opportunity to redirect state income tax to Arizona charities like Science For All through the use of Arizona tax credit contributions. Take control over where your tax dollars are spent and make a 2019 contribution and receive a dollar-for-dollar credit when filing your 2019 tax return: $800 jointly; $400 for singles. Most importantly, Science For All does not compete with the public or private school tax credit, the foster care tax credit or the AZ Military Relief Fund.
