It will serve as the University of Arizona’s innovation and commercialization hub creating a centralized location that bridges resources and accelerates the most promising inventions. The Refinery

The UA Tech Park at The Bridges is a 65-acre community of innovation within a larger 350-acre multi-use development that includes residential and retail development in central Tucson. This location is prime real estate to establish your business and link directly to the assets of the University of Arizona being located only 3.5 miles south of the main university campus. The Tech Park at The Bridges is divided in to three zones, Technology, Corporate, and University. The Technology Zone is already taking shape as it’s first building is coming to life. 

The first building being built is named “The Refinery” because of its proximity to the talent and bright minds that can be mined from the University of Arizona. Allowing companies who locate here, to directly mine talent from the university campus just down the road. This unique opportunity allows leading-edge technology companies to recruit the best and brightest talent providing graduates with engaging employment and students with hands-on internships.

The Refinery will serve as the University of Arizona’s innovation and commercialization hub creating a centralized location that bridges resources and accelerates the most promising inventions. Activities housed at The Refinery will include the University of Arizona Applied Research Corporation (UA ARC); the new offices for Tech Launch Arizona; an additional regional outpost of UA Center for Innovation; innovation space for University of Arizona’s Office of Research, Innovation and Impact, and University of Arizona Online. The remainder of the Class A office space is available to businesses looking to co-locate with the University of Arizona expertise.
