Cosmic Conference: Register to attend UArizona’s 7th annual Interstellar Symposium

We are entering a new era of interstellar exploration. From ground-based observatories to orbital telescopes to our first steps at sending robotic probes beyond Pluto, our generation and our children and grandchildren have a unique opportunity to learn about the planets circling other stars. The 7th Interstellar Symposium is an international gathering of scientists, engineers, and futurists who are engaged in laying the foundations for outposts throughout the solar system and achieving a pathway to the stars.

This year, the symposium will be hosted by the University of Arizona, and will be held in Tucson Sept 24-27. We have over thirty top-notch speakers lined up, including David Brin, Esther Dyson, Pete Worden, Homer Hickam, Alan Stern, Louis Friedman, and more. If you’ll excuse the pun, it’s a stellar lineup!

We’re asking Arizona Technology Council members to do three things:

  1. Register to attend! It’s a mind-expanding way to spend a weekend. http://irg.space
  2. Consider becoming a patron! You can see the table of benefits here. It’s a great way to get your company’s name in front of a highly-technical, highly-networked group of attendees. Contact me directly if you’re interested. https://irg.space/benefits-of-patronage/
  3. Spread the word! Please forward this email to your colleagues or to any other lists you have where people might be interested in space exploration.
