The Arizona Technology Council, the state’s premier trade association for science and technology companies, and The Influence Board, today announced a partnership to foster more automated and relevant collaboration among members while raising important funding for a variety of worthy causes.
This alliance centers on The Influence Board platform, which provides metered access to Council members on their terms. That includes screenings to gauge relevancy, limits on the number of requests and a strong social impact element that monetizes meeting requests through donations to local organizations.
“We’re partnering with The Influence Board to enable our executives and members to create timely collaboration and open doors for the economic recovery of organizations needing additional support,” said Steven G. Zylstra, the Council’s president and CEO. “These interactions contribute to the Council’s culture of growing member businesses, transforming technology in Arizona and supporting worthwhile causes in our community.”
The Influence Board founder, Jay Allen, created the platform in collaboration with top executives of major companies to offer one hour of their time for a “pre-qualified” meeting in return for a meaningful donation to an organization of their choosing. The goal of the platform is to help solve the cold-calling problem by filtering meeting requests for relevancy while empowering users to increase their social impact.
The Influence Board has more than 1,600 high-level executives reviewing and accepting relevant meeting requests to support a variety of initiatives. This new initiative will expand the Council’s continuing work to create meaningful collaboration between executives and potential business partners while elevating corporate social responsibility.
“Arizona Technology Council is such a well-regarded organization and industry leader in the region, so we are pleased to have them join us in our fundraising efforts,” said Allen. “Steve and his Board have established reputations addressing the proactive needs and trends for the explosive technology industry in the state. We look forward to helping them propel opportunities for businesses across Arizona and the Western U.S., and to raise funds for their important organizational priorities.”
All members of Arizona Technology Council will be invited to participate in The Influence Board’s platform, which is open to any business or individual interested in requesting meetings with executives.
