Arizona Energy Consortium

MISSION


As a vital committee under the Arizona Technology Council, the Arizona Energy Consortium (AEC) is established to:

  • Promote and seek opportunities to collaborate within the industry on the growth and retention of energy companies in the state to optimize its’ immediate and long term leadership, value and impact on the production, storage, transmission, distribution and consumption of energy thereby fostering Arizona’s competitive advantages as a place to conduct energy business, generate power for the region – not just Arizona, compete on a regional basis for the generation of power to serve the region, and attract top workforce talent.
  • Promote economic development initiatives that support the energy industry and continued technological development thereby incentivizing advancements towards safe, reliable, affordable, efficient, diversified and renewable energy from within and outside of Arizona.
  • Be a credible, member-driven voice for Arizona's energy industry including firms located within Arizona, firms providing energy to Arizona, and those that support and do business with Arizona’s energy industry.
  • Provide meaningful input into the long-term strategic planning for industry growth statewide, including the Arizona Energy Roadmap and the Updated Arizona Solar Strategic Plan.

AEC meets the third Friday of each month 9:00am to 10:30am at Gammage & Burnham’s Phoenix office at Two North Central Avenue, 15th Floor.
