Science For All: Shaping next-gen STEM professionals, educators and leaders
Scientific and technological progress has transformed communities around the world, fueling innovation and improving living standards. Science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) touches every aspect of our lives, from our smartphones to the technologies that enable us to explore the world around us and even beyond our solar system. But ensuring that technological progress is inclusive and equitable is one of society’s greatest and most complex contemporary challenges.
Science For All, a program of SciTech Institute—the foundation of the Arizona Technology Council—provides disadvantaged youth with employer-education partnerships where they gain first-hand knowledge and workforce experience that would normally be out of reach for these students. Science For All is a 501(c)(3) qualifying charitable organization that utilizes the innovative Chief Science Officer (CSO) program as the vehicle to help youth develop employability and technical skills through STEM events, job training programs, mentorships, internships and other STEM activities.
Utilizing a unique approach that combines cutting-edge research, policy outreach and fellowship programs, Science For All is training the next generation of STEM professionals, science educators and leaders who will drive innovation, solve problems and create technology that we have never imagined. But Science For All cannot accomplish this mission without your help.
In addition to Science For All, SciTech Institute encompasses some of the strongest STEM initiatives in Arizona, including the Arizona SciTech Festival, Science Bowl competitions, and the Counting Bee.
Arizona taxpayers have the opportunity to redirect state income tax to Arizona charities like Science For All through the use of Arizona tax credit contributions. Science For All does not compete with the public or private school tax credit, the foster care tax credit, or the AZ Military Relief Fund.
Help support low-income students in Arizona to obtain critical job skills and empower them as future STEM professionals and leaders. Take control over where your tax dollars are spent and make a contribution up to the April 2019 tax filing deadline and get a dollar-for-dollar credit when filing your return: $800 jointly; $400 for singles.
Thank you for supporting STEM education in Arizona and helping to sustain Arizona’s future workforce.
