Nathan Arrowsmith selected to leadership council on Legal Diversity Pathfinders

Osborn Maledon, P.A. has selected Nathan Arrowsmith, a litigator with experience advising clients on transgender legal issues, as a member of the 2019 class of Pathfinders, a career development program sponsored by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD). 

Among his experience in the LBGTQ+ community, Arrowsmith has:

  • Assisted an LGBT prisoner with constitutional claims against the Arizona Department of Corrections.
  • Assisted LGBTQ+ youth and young adults by volunteering to help with name-change petitions in a clinic for one n ten, a Phoenix organization.
  • Helped a nonprofit organization for undocumented queer youth in forming and obtaining 501(c)(3) status.
  • Advised several fraternities and sororities on the development of policies regarding transgender members.
  • Advised educational institutions on legal issues related to the inclusion of transgender and gender non-binary students.

Founded in 2009, LCLD is an organization of more than 300 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who are personally committed to creating a diverse legal profession. The Pathfinder Program, now in its fourth year, connects early-career, high-potential attorneys in training focused on leadership skills, networking, relationship-building and career development. Osborn Maledon announces the addition of attorney Camille Martinez

Osborn Maledon, a Phoenix-based law firm, announces that Camille Martinez has joined the firm as an associate in the corporate group. With experience helping clients at any stage to secure, protect, and commercialize their intellectual property, she further expands the firm’s intellectual property, trademark and technology practice. 

Martinez’ past work has included both technical research and legal practice for government and corporate clients. Prior to joining Osborn Maledon, she was a patent attorney with a reputable intellectual property law firm in Albuquerque, N.M.

Her background also includes working with in-house counsel at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division and with in-house counsel and technology engagement at the Air Force Research Laboratory New Mexico on intellectual property and technology related matters. She also brings perspective from her technical experience in engineering research at the Air Force Research Laboratory, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Los Alamos National Laboratory, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Rice University.

Martinez graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California Berkeley College of Engineering and received her Juris Doctor from the University of New Mexico School of Law.
