Ideas Collide Wins Big for Best Western with Micro-Influencers

Arizona Technology Council Annual Sponsor, Ideas Collide has been recognized with a Platinum Award from Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International for micro-influencer marketing strategies with Best Western Hotels & Resorts.

Critical to being recognized was Ideas Collide and Best Western’s leveraging of dozens of niche influencers. With help from mommy bloggers to millennial adventurers, the group created original content that would be shared on owned and new channels, leading to improved brand recognition, boosted loyalty program awareness and new opportunities for purchases.

Studies have shown 82 percent of consumers are “highly likely” to follow a recommendation made by a micro-influencer. To consumers, a small-audience, niche channel represents an expert who isn’t manipulated by large marketing budgets.
