Join the Fight for Hunger!
If you’d like to join the AZTC in southern Arizona and participate in this year’s Canned Food Drive, it’s as easy as 1-2-3!
1. Let Jamie Neilson (520-388-5761 or email@example.com) know your company is interested in participating and who the main contact will be by Friday, January 17th.
2. The Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona will drop off a box to your door the week of January 20th to collect donations along with flyers for you to use to promote the drive to your team.
3. The Food Bank will pick up the donations the week of February 24th and announce the winner at our after5 on March 25th. The winner will receive bragging rights, a social media Thank You from the Tech Council and the Food Bank, and – most important – a REALLY fun trophy to display for all to see!
If your box gets full, just contact Jamie Neilson at 520-388-5761. The Food Bank will collect the full box and drop off another. We determine the winner by calculating the weight of food donated and dividing it by the number of employees in the company. Cash donations are also welcome: $1 = 1 lb. If you wish to collect monetary donations you will need to secure that money until the collection day.
The Food Bank will accept all canned goods and boxed foods. NO GLASS PLEASE!
