Drawing from decades of research on cutting-edge neuroscience, experience as a tech executive, and deep study of yoga and mindfulness practices, Margo will share how you can embrace—rather than battle—the functions of your brains and bodies and use your breath in a way that will move you through life with greater ease, authenticity, and, yes, success. Steven Weaver

Most CEOs suffer from executive isolation. The old saying, “It is lonely at the top” is all too true. In almost all cases, everyone we work with wants something from us. We need to make the best choices so we need to trust our instincts and rely on good advice. In this session, we will explore what executive isolation is, and, through an interactive process identify solutions that are working for executives like us.

3:15 PM | Presentation | High Road Leadership, Bringing People Together in a World that Divides
José A. Oliver
, CEO & Executive Coach, Awakening Minds, LLC

In our country, we have had figures that inspire us to become leaders that take the High-Road and make things happen for the benefit of many, and not only ourselves . At the same time, our current environment is more enticing to avoid such practices. Leadership success is a result of good skills combined with good values, and failure stems from either bad skills or bad values. High-Road leaders prioritize values and ethics, in contrast to low road leaders who devalue and manipulate people. We will learn several practices of high road leaders, including cultivating a bigger-picture thinking. During this session, the audience will be challenged to intentionally adopt high road leadership practices to positively impact their communities and culture.
