Quality Assurance Receiving Inspector: Areté
Areté is a growing research and development firm recognized for contributing to national security objectives by supplying innovative solutions to challenging technical problems faced by the United States. Areté’s Tucson office has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Receiving Inspector who will be responsible for the inspection of incoming material across multiple programs and will interact often with the production team, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and quality engineers. This role is responsible for completing qinspections on materials from external suppliers, tdocumenting non-conformances within the database and participating in material review board meetings. The candidate will also assist in reporting qmetrics with quality engineers to track supplier nonconformance trends and continuous improvement efforts, as well as ensuring compliance to the quality management system.

Areté’s Tucson office has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Engineer reporting directly to the Quality Assurance Manager. This is an exempt non-supervisory full-time position. The successful candidate will be responsible for quality engineering across multiple programs and will interact often with the production team, systems engineering integration & test leads and program manager. Responsibilities include: complete quality inspections on product throughout the manufacturing process; Document nonconformance’s within the FRACAS database; communicate issues and action plans with the manufacturing review board; Participate in the technical review board to carefully examine drawings and procedures for clarify and to identify any deficiencies between specifications; and develop and report quality metrics to assist with program efficiency.
