Our Women in the Workforce Series continues as Kara Festa presents…

“Tools for Resilience – Mindfulness and body-based practice for self-compassion and stress relief”

Friday, September 25, 2020  |   3:00 pm – 4:30 pm

About Our Presenter:

Kara D. Festa, PE is a professional engineer and the founder/CEO of Kara Diane Coaching & Consulting, a professional services firm focused on supporting women and other underrepresented populations in business and STEM careers. The company’s mission is to create a vibrant global community of leaders, supporting them to thrive in both career and life. Kara’s approach is focused on supporting the “whole human being” to develop new capacity and resource for business and life. A logical, process-oriented engineer by nature, Kara originally pursued coaching to balance the “engineering side” of her brain with the “people side”. She found a calling, to help her clients develop themselves and their organizations amidst the ever-increasing challenges of our complex and interconnected world.

We invite you to take a brief survey called Emerging Challenges and Opportunities.  Kara will use the challenges you provide in her talk to offer some practices that will help people to re-center and take care of themselves.  The “challenges” discussion serves the purpose of letting people know they’re not alone, and to hold some space for hard stuff, and then ending with looking to the future and possibilities.
