Join WIM for an exclusive facilities tour of AGM Container Controls, as well as for an opportunity to hear Howard N. Stewart, AGM’s President and CEO, talk about what he believes to have been some of AGM’s most important achievements, lessons learned, challenges overcome, extraordinary workforce benefits, community leadership, as well as to learn about AGM’s strategic priorities for the future.

AGM is a Tucson manufacturer with a 150-member workforce. Of such employees, over 100 of its member are employee-owners through its Employee Stock Ownership Plan – ESOP. Lightheartedly, branding itself as “America’s Smallest Conglomerate,” AGM sells product to the Department of Defense and “the Primes;” to public facilities, including schools, convention centers, casinos, hotels, courtrooms, etc.; as well as to individuals with accessibility challenges.

Learn the specifics of how AGM has achieved the following accomplishments:
• How AGM grew our corporate net worth some 30 times in the last 30-years;
• How AGM has been able to not layoff a single employee in the last 33-years;
• How AGM has achieved as much as 27% of our workforce having participated in AGM’s College Tuition Reimbursement Program within a single calendar year;
• How AGM has become, as recently as the year 2025, the fourth largest workforce campaign for the United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona;
• How AGM is currently on-track to achieve a sub 14% Employee Turnover Rate for the year 2025, which, by the way, happens to be less than half that of the average Southwest U.S. manufacturer, as well as has achieved an average employee tenure of 8.5 years;
• Lastly, how, in 2009, AGM became honored by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce with their “America’s Best Small Business of the Year” award. What’s more, AGM continues to be the only Arizona business to have ever received this distinction.

In closing, during the tour, you’ll learn about AGM’s innovative products, which are commonly used on U.S. missiles, jets, drones and satellites, as well as on the International Space Station, as well as how one of AGM’s products makes nuclear reactors, worldwide, safer than they would otherwise be. You’ll also learn about AGM’s culture and corporate history, as well as to get “an inside look” at AGM’s cutting-edge manufacturing technology. Lastly, Hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided!
