Tucson Lunch & Learn: Cybersecurity for the Small Business

Register

Many cybersecurity conversations focus on big and expensive ideas and solutions that have little relevance to small businesses or are too darn expensive to implement.

At this Lunch and Learn, attendees will learn how to develop a framework for evaluating security options and practical steps to immediately improve the IT security at their business.

We’ll discuss:

  • What does good security look like?
  • What are relevant business drivers to use when selecting the right solution?
  • How can you implement good security principles?
  • Is the cloud more or less secure than on-premise storage solutions?

Who Should Attend:

  • Business owners
  • Decision makers who are driving technology adoption
  • IT personnel

About our Presenter:

James Riley is a 25-year veteran of the IT industry. He started in the trenches, providing desktop support and worked his way up to network engineering before he started JNR Networks with his wife, Natalie. Along the way, James also studied business to bridge a critical gap he found in the IT industry ― it was disconnected from business drivers. He works with clients to develop solutions that are innovative and exciting while also being sensible and tied to business drivers.

JNR Networks was founded with a desire to approach IT differently, as traditional IT firms were letting IT drive business. Believing that technology should serve a business, not the other way around, they focus on understanding your business first. Working with your strategic business plans, they work with you to understand if and where IT fits, and then to evaluate, implement and maintain solutions that align with those strategic plans.
