New Frontiers of Sound (NewFoS), is a National Science Foundation (NSF)-funded Science and Technology Center (STC) headquartered at the University of Arizona. The Center brings together researchers from the California Institute of Technology, City University of New York (CUNY), Georgia Tech, Spelman College, University of Alaska Fairbanks, University of Arizona, University of Colorado Boulder, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and Wayne State University to explore topological acoustics and develop innovative sound technologies with broad societal benefits.
