About Our Host:
Urban Farming Education
(UFE) is a Phoenix-based nonprofit dedicated to enriching communities through the integration of gardening and STEM education. Our mission is to empower both educators and students by transforming gardens into vibrant learning environments where science, technology, engineering, and mathematics come to life. We offer a variety of programs aimed at fostering sustainable practices, including the establishment of STEM gardens in schools, professional development for educators, gardening classes for the public, and team-building garden seminars for businesses. By partnering with local businesses to resource these initiatives, UFE is committed to promoting critical thinking, problem-solving, and a deeper understanding of sustainable urban farming. Join us in sowing the seeds of knowledge and growth as we empower communities to cultivate their futures. Let’s grow together with UFE!
