Governor’s Celebration of Innovation Awards

The Arizona Technology Council and Arizona Commerce Authority honors technology leaders and innovators from across the state with the 17th annual Governor’s Celebration of Innovation Awards.

For 2020, the awards program and tech showcase will be virtual due to the pandemic.

Dr. Michael M. Crow is an educator, knowledge enterprise architect, science and technology policy scholar and higher education leader. He became the sixteenth president of Arizona State University in July 2002 and has spearheaded ASU’s rapid and groundbreaking transformative evolution into one of the world’s best public metropolitan research universities. As a model “New American University,” ASU simultaneously demonstrates comprehensive excellence, inclusivity representative of the ethnic and socioeconomic diversity of the United States, and consequential societal impact.

WINNERS AND FINALISTS FOR THE 2020 GCOI AWARDS ANNOUNCED

Honoring the leaders and visionaries making critical contributions to technology, bioscience and education throughout the state of Arizona, the Arizona Technology Council and the Arizona Commerce Authority have announced winners of the Future Innovators of the Year and Teacher of the Year awards, as well as individual and company award finalists for the 2020 Governor’s Celebration of Innovation Awards. The winners will be honored during GCOI, which will take place during a live virtual event on Wednesday, November 4 from 4 to 7:30 p.m.
