In it’s third year, DesTechAZ  is designed to showcase all the great things happening in our state and to help foster the collaborative spirit in making Arizona the next technology metropolis.

Last year, the dinner program featured Gov. Ducey, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, Pitbull, Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin & Vlad Martynov. It’s a high-profile tech event that promises to be another great dinner show with Steve Wozniak returning, a NASA panel, the CEO of Hansen Robotics and more special surprises and big announcements. Special guests will discuss the latest innovations and technology initiatives happening in a variety of industries that will transform the human race for generations to come. Day 1 – Wednesday October 16, 2019
Day 1 is Collaboration In Motion with morning round table sessions, a networking lunch, ACA’s Graduation Showcase and Pitch Competition ending with a Tech Innovation Reception with Steve Wozniak that you won’t want to miss.  DesTechAZ will host nine 45-minute collaborative morning sessions focused on emerging technology trends and topics. These high-level round table discussions will feature top leaders and will have limited seating to ensure conversations are productive and attendees are able to make meaningful connections. A networking luncheon will take place following the sessions.

Stay and play with the ACA
New this year, DesTechAZ and the Arizona Commerce Authority have partnered to present the first-ever Arizona Innovation Challenge Graduation Showcase! Ten Arizona Innovation Challenge portfolio companies that have graduated in the most recent Venture Ready accelerator program cohort will show off their perfected pitches live before a panel of judges from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. To close out the day, all guests are welcome to join a VIP reception with a special congratulations from Woz, meet the companies, and celebrate their success. One company, selected by the judging panel, will receive the DesTechAZ Startup of the Year Award, to be announced at the dinner program on October 17.

Day 2 – Thursday October 17, 2019
Thursday evening promises to be a night full of stars and big announcements once again. Woz will return to discuss latest advancements in STEM education and his future ventures with a very special guest you won’t want to miss. He’ll also explore the latest companies and technologies working closely with NASA that will have universal impacts for future space exploration and the human race. The dinner celebration is high energy and high profile that is designed to showcase all the great efforts Arizona is making to pave the way to becoming the next technology metropolis.
