This focused, one-day event will bring together engineers, innovators, and industry leaders to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming every stage of electronics manufacturing—from smarter PCB design to AI-driven fabrication and automated assembly.
The AI Meets Electronics Manufacturing Symposium offers a single-track format that connects the full lifecycle of a printed circuit board (PCB) — all in one place. Attendees will gain real-world insights, case studies, and practical applications of AI in electronics manufacturing. The day will include expert panels, interactive discussions, and valuable networking opportunities designed to inspire collaboration and spark innovation across the global electronics supply chain.
This year’s event spotlights:
• Smarter PCB Design – AI is transforming layout, simulation, and DFM feedback.
• Next-Gen Fabrication – Data-driven intelligence is boosting yield and efficiency.
• Intelligent Assembly – AI is powering inspection and process optimization on the SMT line.
• Data in Action – End-to-end insights are driving real-time manufacturing decisions.
• What’s Next – Explore AI’s impact on packaging, predictive maintenance, and the future workforce.
As part of this year’s symposium, Avondale and SMTA have launched a Student Technology Challenge. This AI pitch competition invites student teams to design and propose AI-powered solutions to real-world manufacturing problems—no hardware or lab equipment required. Finalists will present their ideas live at the symposium before a panel of industry experts, with a cash prize awarded to the winning team. Student teams interested in participating can find the flyer attached, as well as learn more and register here: SMTA Student Technology Challenge – AI Meets Electronics Manufacturing.
