Diana White is a dynamic executive leader with over three decades of experience in retail, servant leadership, and entrepreneurship, driving innovation and economic growth across Arizona’s technology and entrepreneurship ecosystem. Her entrepreneurial/coaching career spans founding D.E.W. Business Solutions, LLC (2014), directing the Coconino County Small Business Development Center, and serving as CEO of Chandler Innovations, before joining the Arizona Technology Council in 2024 as the Chief of Staff. Diana holds a B.S. in Small Business Administration from Northern Arizona University, complemented by SHRM, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Agile Scrum Master, and PeerSpectives facilitation certifications, with core expertise in entrepreneurial development, innovation leadership, strategic consulting, and inclusive community building. Her unwavering commitment to empowering underrepresented communities — including co-hosting 10 Lessons Learned, leading a coalition for women of color, and facilitating an entrepreneur guild — has earned her two Athena Award nominations and the prestigious Woman of Innovation distinction from the Women’s Foundation of the State of Arizona.
What inspired you to pursue your current career path?
“I spent 30 years in retail prior to switching to consulting and working with entrepreneurs and business owners. I have always embraced every job with a sense of purpose and wonder. But it has been the most fulfilling to see the transformations and successes that come with helping founders bring their companies to market. Networking with the Arizona Technology Council ecosystem is one of the most rewarding aspects for my career path. Our community is comprised of the best people. From the commercial, non-profit, and government sectors, all coming together to uplift Arizona’s stance as a technology hub. The solidarity is exhilarating.”
What does a typical day in your role look like?
“A typical day for me is ensuring all the behind-the-scenes operations are running smoothly so the team can focus on their respective areas of excellence. The AZ Tech Council team is small and mighty. My job is to remove obstacles and get out of their way so they can shine.”
How do you take your coffee? If not coffee, what’s your favorite morning drink?
“I have a hot cup of earl grey tea every morning. I’m a Star Trek fan, that was Captain Picard’s drink of choice.”
What is your favorite weekend activity?
“Working on projects around the house and baking. Once you’ve repaired drywall or made your first loaf of sliced bread from scratch? You think you’re unstoppable. 😊”
