The Council’s fifth annual CEO Retreat is being held Monday, August 13 and Tuesday, August 14 at the Hilton Sedona Resort & Spa in Sedona, Arizona. Escape the heat and head up to Red Rock Country for this two day event that gathers business owners, presidents and CEOs for golf, networking and panel discussions.
Innovation and creative thinking are critical to organizational survival and growth. Leaders have a critical role in creating the culture/climate in which people are motivated to contribute to bringing new solutions to the organization. Research and practice shows that innovative organizations in all sectors have common aspects that allow people the opportunity to think creatively and be productive in bringing forth innovations ranging from continuous improvement to radical changes. In this two-hour workshop on Day Two of the fifth annual CEO Retreat, Doug Reid, a partner with New & Improved, LLC, an organizational development group that specializes in creativity and innovation, will help attendees explore the key factors that influence an organizations’ climate for creativity and innovation and the implications for those in the C-suite. As a consultant, facilitator, trainer and executive and team coach, Doug applies his talents and experience to individual, group, and organizational development and transformation. Doug is a seasoned specialist in the field of organizational creativity, innovation, strategic thinking and leadership and has worked throughout the US, Europe, and Asia in many different industries. Doug was recently tapped by the Arizona Technology Council to lead its Arizona Innovation Institute.
