Every day there seems to be another local or national news story about technology companies, both small and large, flocking to Arizona in droves to start or expand their organizations.
Message from the CEO
At the Arizona Technology Council, we long have been known for our live events, where networking is just as important as any featured speaker. Whether it’s a breakfast meeting or our annual Governor’s Celebration of Innovation, the Council and its members know that so much more can be gained by sharing the same space. As we all return to the real normal, look for the Council to return to the variety of events and networking opportunities for which we are best known. And if you see me at one, don’t hesitate to come up and shake my hand. After all, I’ve been waiting a long time for this!
The Arizona Technology Council wants you to know 2020 should be remembered for more than a pandemic. It should be considered a year in which our tech ecosystem grew stronger. I look forward to leading the Council’s valued members into 2021 with optimism, pride and hope. I take great pride in further growing Arizona’s tech ecosystem and building a world-class tech hub.

It is more critical now than ever before that we take a stand and demand institutional change across the nation. Racism that exists today in all forms is not acceptable. Our thoughts are with all of those impacted by the tragedy in Minneapolis, as well as the countless other lives lost, as we continue to take a stand and fight for equality.
The future of Arizona and its economy lies in our entrepreneurial spirit and thriving technology sector. In our 2019 Annual Report, The Future of Tech in AZ, we highlight the impact the Council and SciTech Institute had across legislation, education, job training, health care and the community. Please review View the report to learn about the committees, initiatives, programs and services designed to support and advance Arizona’s science and technology community.
Pivoting in response to the public health crisis, the Arizona Technology Council has worked hard to help Council members and the community at large to stay connected and engaged.
