The Arizona Technology Council and the Arizona Commerce Authority have announced winners of the Future Innovators of the Year and Teacher of the Year awards, as well as individual and company award finalists for the 2021 Governor’s Celebration of Innovation Awards (GCOI).

The Arizona Technology Council, in partnership with the Arizona Commerce Authority, today announced their selections for Outstanding Technology Senator of the Year, Outstanding Technology Representative of the Year and the top Tech 10 Legislators, in recognition of their roles in advancing technology in Arizona.
Annette Finsterbusch, President and CEO of EnPower, Inc., has been named CEO/Leader of the Year by Girls in Tech (GIT) Phoenix, a nonprofit organization committed to supporting women in tech in the greater Phoenix area.
AZ Business magazine and BestCompaniesAZ present the Most Admired Companies program each year with the goal of recognizing organizations that excel in these six key areas: customer opinion; diversity, equity, and inclusion; innovation; leadership excellence; social responsibility; and workplace culture. One of Arizona’s Most Admired Companies for 2021 is Axon.
The Arizona Technology Council’s President and CEO Steven G. Zylstra was selected as a 2021 Leader of the Year in the Technology category by the Arizona Capitol Times.

The Arizona Technology Council has been named a winner in the Public Policy Advocacy category and a finalist in the Creative Marketing & Communications category in the 2021 Technology Councils of North America (TECNA) Innovation Awards. TECNA, which represents approximately 60 technology associations across the United States and Canada, hosts the awards each year to recognize and honor technology council staff and teams who are integral to developing and implementing innovative and impactful work on behalf of a tech association.
