Arizona Photonics Days | January – Tucson
Our optics Valley Committee annually hosts Arizona Photonics Days. This event is designed to bring together Arizona optics companies and our partners from the Global Photonics Alliance for two days of technical discussions and business-to-business meetings.
Phoenix Golf Tournament | January – Phoenix
MedTech Conference | March – Phoenix
This annual event brings together healthcare innovators, influential policy-makers and other healthcare service professionals committed to promoting and supporting the industry in a uniquely multifaceted environment designed to showcase Arizona’s innovative medical technology. The MedTech Conference seeks to advance industry discussion from key perspectives through expert panel sessions, keynote speakers and product exhibits to provide opportunities in education, business development, capital formation and networking.

Cybersecurity Summit | May – Phoenix
The Cybersecurity Summit is an opportunity for both business and government technology leaders to learn about current threats, vulnerabilities, and consequences related to data security and privacy matters. This educational summit provides actionable solutions, as numerous Council and ACTRA member organizations showcase their available resources, products and services geared toward helping protect intellectual property and customer data. We also host a Cybersecurity Lunch Forum annually in December.
Aerospace, Aviation, Defense, and Manufacturing Conference | July – Tucson
Presented by the Arizona Technology Council and the Arizona Commerce Authority, this conference offers defense prime contractors the opportunity to educate and inform the supply chain. Manufacturers and service providers of all sizes will speak directly with A&D decision-makers, showcase their company’s capabilities, and learn how to meet current industry requirements.
CEO Leadership Retreat | August – Sedona
Escape the summer heat of the Phoenix Valley and join the Arizona Technology Council for a two-day CEO Retreat that gathers business owners, presidents, and CEOs for golf, networking, panels, presentations, keynotes, and workshops. On the first day of the retreat, attendees play in a golf scramble with prizes for closest to the pin and longest drive before joining together in the evening for a networking reception. The second day features content focused on leadership and knowledge sharing and includes a luncheon keynote address by a high-profile business authority. This exclusive event is only open to organizations’ highest ranking executive and event sponsors.
Smart City + IoT Conference | September – Phoenix
In partnership with SusTranCon, AZTC hosts an annual Smart City and IoT Conference to give members the opportunity to share current advances in implementation of communication technology in development of smart cities, smart universities and smart schools.
Southern Arizona Tech + Business Expo | October – Tucson
The Southern Arizona Tech + Business Expo is the biggest technology event of the year in Tucson. Attracting over 450 attendees and over 60 exhibitors, the event includes keynote panel discussions, innovator presentations, education, networking, and a technology and innovation awards ceremony. Exhibitors are encouraged to showcase the technologies involved in their products and services.
Governor’s Celebration of Innovation | November – Phoenix
The Governor’s Celebration of Innovation (GCOI) is an annual awards gala honoring technology leaders, innovators, and academics from across the state. The event attracts over 1,000 attendees each year for a night of networking, food, drinks, and entertainment.
