Pima Community College is working with the tech industry to produce a highly-skilled workforce in Tucson. At this after5, you’ll learn more about the College’s efforts and tour their Aviation Technology Center with its 10,700 square-foot hangar. At this facility, the College provides a learning environment that simulates the demands of the aviation industry and teaches problem-solving and technical skills, teamwork, and safety.
Pima Community College opens its doors to approximately 50,000 credit and non-credit students each year. Six campuses offer university-transfer programs, as well as occupational, developmental, general education, corporate training, and community education courses. Classes are offered at all campuses and approximately 100 other off-campus locations. Besides traditional class structuring, the College meets the needs of students by offering evening, weekend, year-round, online, and accelerated courses of instruction. Pima Community College is unique in its passionate, dedicated, and knowledgeable faculty and staff that have a deep commitment to student success, excellent instruction, and the success of the College and community it serves.
