Fall 2026 Business Internship Employer Partnership Opportunity – Pima Community College Business Department

The Pima Community College (PCC) Business Department is seeking local employer partners to support our credit-bearing internship program course. This program allows students to earn college credit while gaining valuable real-world business experience in a professional work environment.

Partnering with PCC provides businesses with the opportunity to mentor and develop emerging business professionals while building a strong local talent pipeline. Employer partners gain early access to motivated students who are developing current, job-ready business skills and can be considered for future employment. This creates a low-risk, high-impact opportunity to evaluate potential future employees while contributing to workforce development in the local community.

Ideal employer partners are businesses with at least two employees that can support a 135-hour internship over a 16-week semester. Preferred internship sites provide a professional office-based environment where students can gain real-world business experience through project-based work and exposure to multiple business functions within the organization.

Employers should be able to offer a flexible weekly schedule to accommodate students’ class commitments, provide direct supervision, complete two performance evaluations during the semester, and comply with PCC internship requirements, including a site visit and internship paperwork prior to the start of the internship. Employer support through stipends, in-kind contributions, donations, or other forms of assistance to help offset students’ educational and internship-related costs is greatly appreciated.
