CONNECTED 2024

The Connective, Greater Phoenix’s regional smart city consortium, announces CONNECTED 2024, a pivotal gathering in the Greater Phoenix region where local government leaders, technology innovators, and community stakeholders converge. On March 21, 2024, from 3:30 to 7:00 p.m. MST at Venture Café Phoenix, attendees will engage in workshops, panels, presentations, and live technology demonstrations featuring virtual reality digital engagement rooms, augmented reality tools, and 3D printing technology, offering insights into citizen engagement platforms, circular economy initiatives, and emerging communication technologies.

CONNECTED 2024 offers participants the chance to delve into smart city technologies to improve the quality of life and efficiency in Greater Phoenix’s urban area. Facilitated by The Connective, cities are invited to learn from one another and exchange best practices in data collection. Those who are recommended to attend CONNECTED 2024 include local government leaders, state/regional partners, representatives from K-12 and higher education, smart city technology innovators, and community members.

The agenda for the event includes a discussion on the State of the Smart Region focusing on advancements in Greater Phoenix cities across various categories, followed by a Reverse Expo showcasing over 25 city initiatives spanning different departments to demonstrate impact and outcomes. Additionally, there will be discussions on strategic partnerships in shaping resilient cities, highlighting collaborative projects between city and industry leaders. The event will also feature tech demonstrations offering insights into emerging technologies shaping urban life, from AI-powered mapping to augmented reality planning, emphasizing innovation’s role in public advancement.
