Startup Tucson is spearheading Startup STEM Camps this summer to introduce middle and high school students to cutting edge technology as they learn entrepreneurial skills than can solve problems, improve the world and start businesses.
Each weeklong camp will feature demonstrations and speakers from Tucson Entrepreneurs and The University of Arizona. Students will learn skills such as how to identify problems, validate solutions, evaluate financial feasibility and pitch ideas.
Students in 5th through 8th grade will attend July 20-24 while freshmen through seniors will meet July 27-31 for sessions at City High School in downtown Tucson. To apply and get more information, go to startuptucson.org/go/startup-stem-camp-2015.
