Coding Bootcamp Announces Scholarship Program to Make Technology Education More Accessible
Promineo Tech, a technology vocational school specializing in software development, announced the launch of their new Perpetual Scholarship Program. The Perpetual Scholarship Program is a sustainable scholarship that enables qualifying students to attend Promineo Tech for no up-front cost and offers a pathway for individuals to change their lives through technology education they may not have otherwise had access to.
“We’ve seen our programs truly change the lives of our students by helping them build the skills they need to enter a financially stable, technology workforce, which is why we’re so excited this Perpetual Scholarship Program will open that same opportunity to so many more students,” says Nick Suwyn, President of Promineo Tech. “What makes this scholarship program truly unique and amazing is it’s potential to help an unlimited number of students as the perpetual model we’ve created allows the fund to continuously grow.”
Promineo Tech’s current, unique pricing model is what enables the Perpetual Scholarship Program to work. Students only have to pay 10% of their tuition to enroll and do not owe anything else until, and unless, they get a job in the industry. Because of this model, the funds in the Perpetual Scholarship Program will pay the 10% tuition deposits for qualifying students so that they can attend without any costs until they graduate and receive a job with the help of Promineo Tech’s career services. Once a student finds employment, Promineo Tech will put more money back into the scholarship than was originally used to enroll the student. This is what allows the program to be self-sustaining and perpetual.
Highlights of the Perpetual Scholarship Program include:
- The capability to enroll ten times the number of students than traditional scholarships;
- The ability to provide access to higher education in technology fields with high demand and salary; and
- The self-sustaining and self-growing nature that enables an exponential number of students to attain higher education based on initial donations.
The Perpetual Scholarship Program launched today, September 12, 2019, and is open for donations and has already received its first pledge from Katherine Williams with the Saint Jude Tuition Fund to pay for 5 students to enroll at Promineo Tech. Funds will be made accessible to students starting at the beginning of 2020. Named scholarships are available to any individual or organization who donates $3,900 or more and can have additional criteria set as to which students qualify for the donated funds based on need or merit.
