Scottsdale-based Lumension has joined forces with FrontRange of Milpitas, Calif., to create HEAT Software, which will showcase their strength as providers of hybrid service management and unified endpoint management software solutions for organizations of all sizes.
The creation of HEAT Software was prompted by private investment firm Clearlake Capital Group’s purchase of FrontRange in combination with the merger of its existing portfolio company Lumension. Combining the two companies offers enhanced capabilities in the management of endpoint operations, security and compliance.
The new company will feature a blended management team of senior executives from both companies and be led by industry veteran Jonathan Temple as CEO. The company will have more than 350 employees serving its global customer base as it maintains operations in Scottsdale and headquarters in Milpitas.
