Susan Farretta has been named the new director of programs and education for Arizona SciTech, dedicated to celebrating science, technology, engineering and math across the state
In her role, Farretta will coordinate events for Arizona SciTech’s annual science festival, which collaborates with over 600 organizations staging more than 1,000 events across 51 different communities. She also will oversee the new Chief Science Officer initiative for campus-wide engagement of science and innovation across Arizona schools.
Farretta has been a teacher for the Scottsdale Unified School District and Scottsdale Community College, and served as a STEM integration specialist for the Phoenix Union High School District. She also has worked at Motorola and ON Semiconductor.
