Sherman & Howard L.L.C., a 200 attorney firm based in Denver, CO, is seeking a marketing professional to represent our firm’s Arizona offices (Phoenix and Scottsdale). Primary responsibilities include the development, planning and coordination of client-focused and internal attorney educational and social events; coordinating responses to requests for proposals and pitches to current and prospective clients; tracking and managing the marketing budget; development and rollout of a communications, media relations and advertising initiative; coordinating a community outreach strategy; and, preparation of a variety of reports as requested.
The successful candidate must have excellent writing and communications skills, experience developing business plans and strategies with our attorneys and industry group and the ability to work in conjunction with the marketing team and firm executive committee in Denver.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, journalism, communications or a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience. A Master’s degree or law degree is highly desirable. Five years of progressively responsible and varied experience in the legal industry or other professional services field required. Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
