Bookkeeper – Arizona Technology Council

Location: Phoenix, AZ | Full-Time

Join Arizona’s leading tech-focused nonprofit and help power innovation!  The Arizona Technology Council is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support our accounting operations. This role handles A/P, A/R, reconciliations, and financial reporting for a dynamic, tech-focused nonprofit organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the full cycle of A/P and A/R, manage invoicing, payments, and collections
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
  • Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month-end close
  • Prepare cash-flow summaries, aging reports, and other financial updates
  • Support inter-company account reconciliation
  • Prepare and issue annual 1099 forms
  • Utilizes vendor portals, including, but not limited to, analyzing, updating, and submitting documents
  • Maintains and retains accurate and complete electronic financial records
  • Manage Pollical Action Committee (PAC) account and provide reporting
  • Support budget creation and execution

What We’re Looking For

  • Associate degree in Accounting or Business Administration
  • 3 to 5 years bookkeeping experience
  • Strong Excel, QBO and other accounting software skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
  • Clear, concise communication skills
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills
