About our Presenter:

Dr. Gholam A. Peyman is responsible for the invention of LASIK eye surgery which corrects the vision of an eyeglass dependent patient allowing them to be free from wearing eyeglasses. He has been granted 124 US Patents covering an extensive range of medical devices, intra-ocular drug delivery, surgical techniques, as well as new methods of diagnosis and treatment.

Dr. Peyman will give us an update on iCrx, Inc.  iCrx has developed a hand-held device that can produce an objective and accurate eyeglass prescription in approximately 20 seconds without any subjective input from the viewer.  By utilizing laser technology designed to instantly determine a required eyewear prescription, the device can replace a traditional phoropter ophthalmic testing device.
