Tech Inclusion Forum | The Evolution of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion to Business Imperative

In this second Tech Inclusion Forum of 2021, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Expert Katee Van Horn will share insights into WHY and HOW Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) has evolved over the past 18 months to become a Business Imperative.

A panel of 3 Phoenix headquartered companies, Avnet, Benchmark Electronics and BlueCross Blue Shield of Arizona, will share their story of when, why and how DEI changed in their companies. They will share what initiatives they have launched as a result and where they are currently on their DEI journey.

Katee Van Horn is an HR strategist and international keynote speaker focused on global Inclusion, Diversity and Belonging (IDB). She is a former VP of Engagement & Inclusion for GoDaddy, a Fortune 500 company, where she helped build a truly special IDB culture. She now leads VH Included Consulting & Coaching, focusing on partnering with global organizations to strengthen their cultures. She sits on the Multicultural Advisory Board for One Community AZ and is an Industry Advisor for Hitch Works. She is particularly interested in moving underrepresented groups into leadership to achieve IDB goals. Katee is also the co-host of the Inclusive AF podcast, where she discussing diversity, equity and inclusion topics.
