Smart City and IoT Conference on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Venue8600 from 12:30 – 6:00 PM.

Please note the AZTC will also offer a hybrid option for this event. The live event will be streamed through Microsoft Teams. Please register for the event to receive all the hybrid information 1 day before the event.

The Smart City and IoT Conference is an opportunity for sharing current advances in implementation of communication technology in development of smart cities and IoT.

MARK HARTMAN
Chief Sustainability Officer, City of Phoenix

In his role as Phoenix’s chief sustainability officer, Mark Hartman supports Phoenix’s continual efforts in becoming a global leader in sustainability. In 2016, Phoenix City Council approved environmental goals that include becoming a carbon-neutral city, operating on 100% clean energy, zero waste, a 100-year supply of water, clean air, parks and transit in every neighborhood, and a vibrant local food system. Hartman previously worked at the City of Vancouver leading its carbon-neutral strategy and green building code as well as supporting Vancouver’s ambition to become the greenest city in the world. Hartman holds an MBA from Heriot-Watt University and is a LEED accredited professional.
