Smart community initiatives and planning are driven by regional collaboration with local, state and tribal governments.
As the federally designated metropolitan planning organization, PAG oversees long-range transportation planning and is focused on strategies that enable global competitiveness, productivity and efficiency.
Pima Association of Governments (PAG), a nonprofit 501(c)4, is a council of governments and the federally designated metropolitan planning organization for our region. Its mission is to drive effective regional planning decisions that enhance the quality of life for our citizens. It is also the fiscal manager of the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA). Members include Pima County, the Cities of South Tucson and Tucson, the Towns of Marana, Oro Valley and Sahuarita, the Pascua Yaqui Tribe, the Tohono O’odham Nation and the Governor-appointed Pima County representative of the Arizona State Transportation Board. |
