The Middle Skills Internship Summit is presented by the Science Foundation Arizona Center for STEM, in collaboration with the Center for the Future of Arizona, to showcase participating Internship programs, share best practices, discuss common challenges, and highlight the opportunities for statewide impact and policy.
The Science Foundation Arizona (SFAz) Center for STEM at ASU (previously the STEM Network/Community College STEM Pathways at SFAz) has instituted an internship model that, with seed funding, has led to a number of new sustainable internship programs. These programs are being developed at community colleges and Career & Technical Education Districts throughout Arizona and will be showcased at the Summit.
