About the Presenter – Tim Parker, VP of Network Services
Mr. Parker is currently Vice President of Network Services & Network Product Strategy at ViaWest. He has led the transformation of the ViaWest network to be a true service provider that can offer IP transit, transport services, advanced network security, and high-quality managed services with a guaranteed 100% uptime.
Prior to ViaWest, Tim was the Director of Global Network Engineering at GoDaddy, where he managed a team of highly-skilled network engineers responsible for the design and engineering of GoDaddy’s core network infrastructure. Tim led the effort to grow GoDaddy’s international network though the use of extensive peering and transit improvements as well as improving the DNS Infrastructure globally. His work also included multiple strategic deployments that reduced the overall Service Provider costs while delivering greater capacity and performance.
