About the Presenter:

Norm “Gump” Balchunas, Senior Director at Honeywell Connected Enterprise, Washington, DC Metro Area
Norm leads global development of Connected Defense programs that include artificial intelligence, big data analytics, cybersecurity, and C5ISR. Following 25 years of service in the United States Air force where he commanded worldwide programs, combat aviation squadrons, aircraft acquisition and research/development programs. Following military retirement he directed a professional trade association developing solutions in electronic warfare, cybersecurity and information operations. Norm stood up the Applied Informatics Group in the College of Computing & Informatics at Drexel University, and was the Founding Director of Drexel’s Cyber Security Institute. Turning to industry, Norm was an industry Senior VP, specializing in cyber analytic engineering services and established the US Government’s Security and Exchange Commission Cybersecurity oversight program.
