The Arizona Technology Council’s MedTech Committee will be holding its October round-table in Hybrid format.
Legal Considerations for Medical Device and Technology Providers, Innovators, and Lawyers.
Medical device and technology companies are required to comply with a variety of laws and regulations. This is done to protect the public and the organizations that use them. For payers, providers, and the public, as well as attorneys that advise them, understanding these legal requirements can support the implementation and adoption of medical technology. This hybrid in-person and virtual panel discussion will provide a 40,000-feet level overview of the legal and related practical issues involved in this area, in this presentation designed for interested business, tech, and legal professionals. The presentation will also include a simulated MedTech Pitch for those interested in seeking investors or in investing in such ventures. For lawyers, 1.0 hour of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit will be provided. With a growing community of MedTech and WellTech innovations in Arizona, these types of educational and networking events can support the development of an economic driver for our state.
