The Arizona Technology Council and Intel will be holding the 2017 State Legislative Day on Thursday, March 2nd.  This event gives attendees the chance to learn what is going on at the Legislature and with public policy related to the technology industry in the state. You will also have a chance to personally meet with key legislators to advocate for and show the importance of the Council’s legislative priorities, especially the recapitalization of the Angel Investment Tax Credit.

Economic Development Round Table (2:30 – 4:30 PM, Senate Majority Caucus Room)
This event is an open discussion with state legislators to identify opportunities in public policy that will improve Arizona’s global competitiveness in the technology sector. Understanding the importance of high-technology jobs in our local economy, legislators want to hear from industry representatives that can speak to the real-life results and consequences of decisions made at the Arizona State Capitol. The roundtable will provide a forum for Arizona Technology Council members to share ideas and feedback that policymakers can use to put forth and enact legislation.

The second portion of this event will give you a chance to meet with numerous legislators.  The Council has invited all the state legislators to participate in this two-hour mixer.  Come join the AZTC and your state legislators for some light food, drinks and networking.
