The Southern Arizona Logistics Education Organization (SALEO) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that, with its corps of volunteers, seeks to advance global and regional logistics through education, networking, and workforce development. Since 2009, SALEO has given out $90,000 in scholarships funded through the annual scholarship tournaments. The scholarships are for study at a two- or a four-year institution or for a certificate from an industry-recognized training program; such study helps to develop the workforce Arizona needs.
